Godby Shipping secures new charters and contract extensions

Godby Shipping has announced several key charter extensions and a new agreement, reinforcing the company’s strong relationships and long-term partnerships in the European shortsea market.
The firm time charter for Mistral with Sea-Cargo has been extended until 31 October 2025, with an option to extend further until December 2025. The Baltic Bright charter with Holmen has also been extended through 31 December 2026.
In new business, Aurora has been chartered to DFDS from January to December 2026, with options. The vessel will operate within DFDS’s North Sea network, linking Norway, the UK, and Belgium. Until the new charter begins, Aurora will continue trading with Peregar.
Godby Shipping also provided an update on its current fleet charters:

Mimer – Midline, until August 2025

Midas – CMA CGM, until December 2026 + option until June 2027

Lysvik / Lysbris – DFDS, until December 2026 + options to 2030
