Blue Ocean to launch Jeddah–China service

According to DynaLiners, Saudi Arabia’s port authority, Mawani, has announced a new container service connecting Jeddah with key ports in China, to be operated by Blue Ocean.

While details remain limited, the service is expected to deploy vessels of up to 2,300 TEU and will link Jeddah with Qingdao, Ningbo, and Guangzhou (Nansha).

The new route underscores Saudi Arabia’s push to enhance its maritime connectivity with Asia and strengthen Jeddah’s position as a regional transshipment hub.
