2026 outlook unchanged amid challenges

Despite the disruption, Hapag-Lloyd reaffirmed its 2026 full-year forecast, with Habben Jansen expressing confidence in balancing out the added expenses in the months ahead.

The company projects earnings before interest, tax, depreciation, and amortisation (EBITDA) between $1.1 billion and $3.1 billion.

The outlook for earnings before interest and tax (EBIT) spans from a loss of $1.5 billion to a profit of $0.5 billion.
