US President Donald Trump said that the U.S forces destroyed 42 Iranian Navy Ships in 3 days, saying, ‘’They’re bad people, responsible for violence in the region and arguing that military action was important since it was developing nuclear weapons.
He spoke in Doral, Florida, at the Shield of the Americas Summit, in front of leaders from across the Americas.
He also added that they knocked out the Iranian air force and communications network.
Trump said that Iran wanted to assert its dominance in the Middle East but has now suffered a defeat.
‘It is the first time that Iran has ever lost, in thousands of years, to surrounding Middle Eastern countries,” he said. “Iran is no longer the bully of the Middle East. They are the ‘losers of the Middle East.’
He said that more strikes would come, saying Iran would be hit very hard.
Trump is also planning to deploy ground forces in Iran as part of his planning for a postwar situation.
