

The United States has sent a third aircraft carrier strike group to the Middle East as military operations against Iran continue.
The USS George H.W. Bush left Naval Station Norfolk in Virginia on March 31 along with its strike group.
The deployment includes more than 6,000 personnel and a number of Arleigh Burke-class destroyers. Officials said it could take several weeks for the carrier to reach the Middle East.
Once it arrives, it will join two other US aircraft carriers already linked to the region. The USS Abraham Lincoln is currently operating in the Arabian Sea and is involved in ongoing military operations.
The USS Gerald R. Ford had to leave combat duty after a fire and is now in Europe after completing repairs. It had been at a base on Crete and is currently docked at a port in Croatia.
