QTerminals marks TEU handling milestone at Hamad Port

QTerminals has proudly announced that it has surpassed the milestone of handling over 10 million TEUs at its flagship facility, Hamad Port, since operations began.
This significant achievement highlights Hamad Port’s growing importance in global maritime logistics and its consistent upward trajectory since opening in 2016.
The port has rapidly become a vital hub for international shipping, serving all major global carriers with its advanced infrastructure and reliable service standards.
Jesper Pedersen, Managing Director of Hamad Port, commented on the milestone that this achievement will pave the way for increased mainline and feeder services, reinforcing Hamad Port’s role as a key global logistics hub.
This announcement follows recent records set by QTerminals, including the handling of the MSC ELISA XIII and achieving a new berth productivity record of 234.26 Berth Moves Per Hour, surpassing the previous benchmark of 220.38 BMPH.
The company also recorded its highest monthly container volume to date.
