Amid fierce intra-port competition, recent investment in harbour infrastructure upgrades seems to have bred significant market share tailwinds for APM Terminals’ flagship facility at India’s Nhava Sheva Port (JNPA).
APMT Mumbai, also known as Gateway Terminals India (GTI), has set new vessel productivity benchmarks at the port, with its quay crane rates going up to 112 moves per hour on some of the recent calls, an analysis of 2025 data reveals.
